Mildred L. "Millie" Glauser, age 81, of Alliance died at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born in Alliance, March 6, 1926 to E.W. and Mary Tyrone (Pentz) Glauser.
Miss Glauser was a graduate of Alliance High School and of Mt. Union College. She was employed by Mt. Union College in the Alumni office for 38 years until her retirement in 1988.
She was an active member of First Emanuel United Christian Church. She enjoyed knitting for her family, traveling and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her niece, Nancy (Dick) Morris of Alliance; nephews, Larry (Peggy) Greiner of Cuyahoga Falls, Tim (Cathy) Greiner of Alliance, Terry (Isabel) Greiner of Ormond Beach, FL; grand nieces, Vicki, Katie, Courtney and Amanda; grand nephews, Shawn, Chad, Keith, Mike, Christopher and D.J.; and great grand nephews, Brendan and Grant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen L. Greiner, brother-in-law, Donald E. Greiner, niece, Mary Greiner, and grand niece, Ashley Elizabeth Greiner.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Cash-Burless, Chaplain, Mt. Union College, officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
