Milo Sights Jr. of Alliance, died at 4:25 p.m. May 24, 2004 at Aultman Hospital.
Mr. Sights was born in Astoria, Oregon to Milo Sights Sr. and Dorothy (Gunall) Sights and lived most of his life in Alliance.
He graduated from Alliance High School, and was a Captain and Firefighter with the Alliance Fire Department for 30 years. He also was employed part-time at Universal Co-Op.
Mr. Sights was a member of the American Legion in Alliance and William Penn, and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen (Schmied) Sights, whom he married June 22, 1968, one daughter, Terri (Patrick) Bishop of Alliance, and one son Ronald Shekels and his fianc? Maria Fisher, of Thurmont, Maryland, grandchildren; Nick, Erik, Clark, Jennifer and Jillian, and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jarrod, Bryce and Ty.
Mr. Sights was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Beechwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Scott Williams officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013, Columbus OH 43218-2039.
