Milton Vrudney age 90, of Ravenna, went home to be with the Lord, March 29, 2012.
He was born November 27, 1921, in Arnold, Pennsylvania, to Andrew and Julia (Skolnik) Vrudney.
Milton, a World War II veteran having served in the Chemical Warfare Division, was also a charter member and lifetime member of the American Legion Post No. 713. Milton retired from Stay Warm Electric.
An avid gardener, who always planted more than he could use, loved giving the rest to his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife, Thelma (Martin) Vrudney, whom he married April 15, 1950; sons, Donald, Michael, and Edward Vrudney; grandchildren, Ryan and Brad Vrudney, Tanya Rainey, Tracy Young and Todd Dewitt; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pauline Vestrand, Julie Kimble, and Mary Vestrand; and brothers, Andrew and Bill Vrudney.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Adams officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Edinburg Cemetery.
