Myra M. Clayton, age 89, of Louisville, Ohio, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Oakhill Manor.
Myra was born April 6, 1921, in Alliance and graduated from Alliance High School. She was employed at Alliance Manufacturing and retired after more than 30 years of service.
She was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Chris (Ana) Clayton of Coco Beach, Fla; sister-in-law, Linda (Richard) Haynam of Alliance, sister-in-law, Corinne Clayton of Orangeburg, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William James Clayton, whom she married in 1959 and who died in August 1989; sister-in-law, Alice Penturf; and brother-in-law, George Clayton.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at Fairmount Memorial Park with Chaplain Pam Przybylski officiating.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
