Nancy J. (Davis) Aebi, age 71, of Alliance, passed away at 10 p.m., Thursday, November 28, 2013, at McCrea Manor.
She was born December 19, 1941, in Atwater, Ohio, to William G. and Grace (Strong) Davis.
Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Atwater High School and was formerly employed at the Alliance Eagles Club.
She was a former member of Eagle Aerie No. 2174 and the VFW Post No. 1036.
Nancy enjoyed going to garage sales, reading mysteries, working word searches, collecting Teddy Bears, (her grandson called her "Teddy"), and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Timothy L. (Angie) Aebi of Alliance, daughter, Debra S. (Mel) James of Canton; brothers, Robert Davis of S. Carolina and Donald (Kay) Davis, of Alliance; sister, Judy Carlile of Alliance; grandchildren, Aaron, Tia, Nicole, Melanie, Kira and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Gaberiel and Samuel; and a special friend, Robin Priest.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Timothy Aebi; and a brother, Gerald Davis.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
