Nancy A. Hoyle, age 82, of Alliance, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Sterling House of Alliance.
She was born November 12, 1931, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, to Glen and Edith (Hagerman) Rearick and has been a resident of Alliance since 1942.
Nancy was a 1949 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Wittenberg College in Springfield, Ohio.
She was briefly employed at Easterday Pharmacy. Nancy was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church and enjoyed shopping for antiques, frequent dinners out with the ladies and listening to classical music.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Hoyle whom she married December 27, 1949; son, John W. (Cindy) Hoyle of Carol Stream, IL; daughter, Linda (Richard) Glass of Pittsburgh, PA.; and two grandsons; Adam Glass of Manchester, NH. and Steven Hoyle of Carol Stream, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents: two sisters; and one brother.
A private chapel service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park Chapel on Wednesday with Rev. Cora Lee Cox of Union Avenue United Methodist Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
