Nancy C. Jae

Nancy Catherine Jae, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, October 29, 2017, at her home.
She was born November 2, 1932, at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron to Algernon Mitchell and Ruth Alene (Price) Shoemaker and has resided in Alliance since 1963.
Nancy was employed in customer service as office manager for Louisville Vacuum.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Alliance, Alliance Woman's Club, Alliance Gardening Club, Alliance Country Club and Bridge Club.
Survivors include her son, Jeffery (Libbie) Jae of Tampa, Florida; grandsons, Ryan (Emily) Jae of Haverstown, Pennsylvania, David (Amanda) Jae of Tampa, Florida, and Samuel Jae of Los Angeles, California; and great-granddaughter, Amelia Hazel Jae of Tampa, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brad Jae, who died February 28, 2006 and her husband, Hugh Ivan Jae whom she married June 20, 1954 and who died March 18, 2006.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
