Nancy Lucille (Ring) Johnson, age 77, of Alliance, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born May 24, 1932, in Alliance to Earl and Mildred (Phillips) Ring and graduated from the former Marlboro High School.
Nancy lived and worked for the Tennessee Court System for many years in Wartrace, Tennessee, before returning to Alliance in 1999, where she worked in the Travel Department at the Alliance Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Diane) Breit of Minerva; James Johnson of Tennessee; a granddaughter, Amy (Chad) Novak and great-grandson, Zachary, all of Hartville; and a grandson, Jeff (Ashli) Breit, and great-grandson, Jackson, all of Hartville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Martin officiating.
