Nancy G. Locke

Nancy G. Locke, age 88, of Alliance, passed away early morning Friday, October 29, 2021 at Bel-Air Care Center.

She was born September 18, 1933 in Buchtel, Ohio to John and Nellie (Coakley) Hayden.

Nancy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Nancy was an avid reader and loved traveling throughout the United States. She especially enjoyed trips on Amtrak and the Alliance Senior Center bus. Nancy was known by everyone in her neighborhood who waved to her on her front porch. She will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, R. Mark (Karen) Locke of Alliance, Jeffrey J. (Tammy) Locke of Pearland, TX and Donna Jean (John) Webster of Alliance; five grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Locke, whom she married June 25, 1955, and who died July 27, 2020; brothers, Albert Hayden, Paul Hayden, Roger Hayden, and Gary Hayden, John Hayden, Willard Hayden, Floyd Hayden; and sisters, Donna Riley and Emogene Magley.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park with Pastor John Partridge officiating.
