Nancy Vicars

Nancy Vicars, age 81, of Alliance passed away at her home on March 28, 2021.

She was born on November 17, 1939 in Alliance, Ohio to Ernest and Irene (Briggs) Meeks.

Nancy graduated from Alliance High School in 1958 and then attended Beauticians School in Canton. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed bingo, bowling, karaoke and was a member of card club. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David (Nancy) Vicars; daughter, Krissy Vicars; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, whom she married in 1961 and who passed in 2001; her son, Ronnie; sisters, Joyce Anderson and Shirley Rininger.

A funeral service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 470 E Broadway St, Alliance, Ohio 44601, on Saturday, April 10th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Ashbrook officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior.
