Nancy Lynn Wollam

Nancy Lynn Wollam, age 89, of Alliance, passed away on January 11, 2022.

She was born on April 29, 1932 in Deerfield, Ohio to Ruben and Muriel (Ament) Edinger.

Nancy was active in the Alliance Friends Church and attended Bible Study there. She enjoyed gardening, canning and spending her summers at Tea Garden Acres. Nancy also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard (Sheree) Wollam; daughter, Rebekah (John) Simcic; sister, Beverly Mallett; brother, Dan Edinger; grandchildren, Amy (Tom) Flynn, Matthew (Colelette) Hill, Mark (Kristi) Wollam, Julie (Kevin) Burkholder, Jennifer (Jason) Butcher, Zachery Simcic and Rachel Simcic; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Carter, Logan, Taylor, Jacob, Grace, Camden, Eli, Beau, Abraham, Caroline, Alexa, David and Jocelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 60 years, Richard; her daughter, Cindy Hill; her son, Ted; brothers, Norman, Terry, and David Edinger; and her sister, Shelly Raabe.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15th from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow. Pastor Kevin Burkholder will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E Market St, Akron, OH 44308.
