Naomi E. Unkefer, age 95, of Daytona Beach Florida, and formerly of Alliance, passed away May 1, 2020 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
She was born November 11, 1924 in Garrison, Pennsylvania to Jesse B. and Lillie (Pethel) Anderson.
A graduate of Waynesburg High School in Pennsylvania, Naomi worked as a waitress and pie maker at Perkins for 28 years. She also worked at Alliance Manufacturing for several years.
She was a member of the Freeburg Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include her sons, Robert W. (Peggy) Hubbs, of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, and Mark Hubbs, of Alliance; many grand and great grandchildren; and brother, Fred Anderson of Aliquippa, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Unkefer, whom she married Oct. 9, 1992; and who died April 8, 2003; an infant son, Charles Gary Hubbs; sons, David Ray Hubbs, and Kenneth A. Hubbs; and brothers, Wilbur Perry and Ray Anderson, Charles Junior Anderson, and sister, Eva Farley.
A private family service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
