Nellie May Drake Harlow, age 76, of Alliance, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2005 at Community Care Center.
She was born September 23, 1928 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and lived most of her adult life in the Alliance area.
Nellie graduated from high school in the Dayton area and loved sewing and garage sale hunting. She enjoyed dancing at Melody Lanes with her husband, Robert.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Harlow, two sons, Kennie (Doris) Drake and Terril Drake, both of Alliance; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ina "Sis" Corrin, and Edith "Pete" Garries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one son, Duane Drake, who died on Jan. 2, 2003.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. David Hostetler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
