Norman E. Bickley, age 52, of Alliance, died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital
Mr. Bickley was born November 23, 1954 in Alliance to Melvin and Mary C. Davis Bickley and was a lifelong resident.
He worked for Mel's Towing as a tow truck driver and was a member of the Alliance Police Dept. Reserve since 1991.
He was also a member of the Eagles Club #2374 of Louisville and enjoyed volunteering his time to the Salvation Army.
Mr. Bickley was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Michele J. (Godfrey) Bickley whom he married June 8, 1974; son, Norman R. Bickley of Alliance; daughters, Shelly Bickley and long-time companion Dale Dickson Jr. of Alliance and Judy Bickley and fianci�½e Larry Walrath of Sebring; grandchildren, Tyler Bickley, Courtney Dickson, Jason Dickson Jr., Isaiah Dickson. Eric Stalker, Ethan Gregory Bryan, Garbielle Dickson, Juston Walrath, Desi Dickson and Dale Dickson III; several sisters and brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Jahidi Dickson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Neal Mann of First Immanuel United Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
