Olice Pauline Hill

Olice Pauline Hill, age 83, of Alliance, went home to be with Jesus on January 5, 2022.

She was born on January 11, 1938 in New Comberstown, Ohio to Roger and Ruth (Freetage) Derr.

Olice attended the Alliance Christin Center. She enjoyed playing games, working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ruth Ann Lewis, Jeanette (Albert) Blank and Terry (Karen) Hill; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Derr; and sister, Vera Grimes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Forest Hill; her sons, James Layne and infant Jerry Allen Layne; infant grandson, Adam Lee Hill and two sisters, Carol Cotton and Helen Prendergast.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11th at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Pastor Paul Dykshorn will officiate. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
