Olive M. Wilson, age 81, of Alliance died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at her home after a brief illness.
She was born May 5, 1927 and was a self employed upholsterer for 35 years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her two sons, Terry (Linda) Wilson and Larry Wilson, both of Alliance; a daughter Marsha (Stephen) McQuilkin of Beloit; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Evelyn Pomper of Pompano Beach Florida, sister-in-law, Peg Irwin of Mars, Pennsylvania; and three nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Leroy G. Wilson whom she married January 23, 1950 and who died June 15, 1987; a daughter, Marla Murphy Lewis; and five brothers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor William Sadler officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
