Jesus took Mother's hand and together they walked into the Heavenly sunlight. Orpha was born Aug. 3. 1919. Widow of Arthur K. Peck. Survived by son, Perry (Joyce) Peck and daughter, Sherry (George) Carnell; 5 grandchildren, John, Fred and June Peck, Karen (Frank) Silvestri, James (Kristen) Carnell and eight great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Thomas, Lillian, Cody, Andrew, Anthony, Alex, and Evan. Viewing will be at Noon, Wed. Oct. 7, 2009 at Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Garrett, Pa. Services will be held at 1 p.m. October 7, 2009 with Pastor Dottie Grew officiating. Interment will be at Garrett Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please offer donations to Akron Children's Hospital (Cancer Unit) Akron, Ohio. Mother worked at the Shirt Factory, the Dairy Dale and Donges Drive-In. Mother was a friend to all and noted for her beautiful smile. She had many dear friends; Harry Lee, companion of many years; Irene Hady, a dear friend of the family and caregiver for Orpha her last 3 years in Meyersdale. We love and thank you, Irene. Mother was a resident at Roselawn Terrace, Alliance, Ohio for three years. We wish to thank Roselawn for spoiling, caring for and loving our mother. We appreciate your compassion and dedication to the comfort of our beloved mother. Roselawn, you are loved. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio.
