Ottilie Peti, age 80, of Alliance peacefully went home to be with the Lord at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 9, 1928 in Hanau, Germany and was a resident of Alliance since 1952.
Ottilie was co-owner and operator at Peti's Meat Market from 1964 to 1992 and then a vendor at the Hartville Flea Market from 1968 up until a few weeks prior to her passing.
A loving Mother and Wife, she will be missed by her survivors which include her husband, Steve Peti whom she married May 26, 1951; her son, Ralph (Susan) Peti of Alliance; her daughter, Rosemarie (Scott) Pifer of South Lyon, Michigan; three grandchildren, Tracy (Joe) Dean, Ryan (Julie) Peters and Jessica Peti; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Dean and Madison Dean.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Bays of Family Christian Center officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
