Pamela S. Montler, age 61, of Alliance, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at her home.
She was born November 4, 1948 in Salem, Ohio, to Omar and Donna (Conrad) Powell. A 1967 graduate of West Branch High School, Pamela was a licensed practical nurse and was formerly employed at Aultman Hospital as an operating scrub nurse. She was also formerly employed at McCrea Manor. She was a member of the Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church and her hobbies included gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Carey L. Montler, of Alliance; mother, Donna Powell of Alliance; sisters, Linda Wallace of Homeworth and Deborah Held of Alliance; one niece; three nephews; three great- nieces and one great-nephew.
Preceding her in death were her father; and her husband, Patrick G. Montler, whom she married February 8, 1977, and who died December 17, 1998.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Sawyer officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
