Pamela Smith

Pamela (Hilbert) Smith, age 70, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Green Meadows Health & Wellness Center in Louisville.
She was born February 16, 1948, in Alliance, Ohio, to David R. Sr. and Omadeen D. (Shellenberger) Hilbert.
She was a 1967 graduate of Alliance High School and a member of the Alliance Friends Church. She enjoyed coloring, crocheting, working puzzles and collecting dolls. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her three sons, David (Merrieanna) Smith Jr. of Alliance, Christian (Alyshia) Smith of Canton, and Jerry Smith of Canton, and daughter, Bonnie Smith of Alliance; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Smith Sr., whom she married February 3, 1968 and who died May 16, 2006; and siblings, David R. Hilbert Jr., Garry G. Hilbert, Jess W. Hilbert and Bonita R. Blake.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2018, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Smith's family would like to thank the staff of Green Meadows and Serenity Hospice for their mother's care.
