Patricia J. Charlton, age 66, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away at 7:10 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at her home.
She was born October 12, 1946, in Alliance, Ohio, to Harold and Ann (Burk) Brogan.
A 1964 graduate of West Branch High School, Pat was a secretary for the Gas Company and Babcock and Wilcox Research. Later, she moved on to motherhood, Marlboro Township zoning inspector, Mary Kay sales, and retired in 2009 as Office Manager from Stark County Regional Planning Commission.
Pat was a member of Aldersgate and later Salem United Methodist Church, and Omega Nu Tau Philanthropic Sorority for more than 30 years.
An avid snow skier, traveler, and active grandma, she will be missed by her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her husband James "Jim" Charlton of Louisville, whom she married January 9, 1970; daughter, Dr. Michele (Shawn) Schillig; son, Brad (Tracy) Charlton, both of Louisville; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Charlton and Jacob Charlton; and one brother, Russell (Donna) Brogan of Perrysburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Neil Orchard officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Pat's family would like memorial contributions to Salem United Methodist Church, 14113 Salem Church Road NE, Alliance, OH 44601, or Alliance Hospice, 885 S. Sawburg, Alliance OH 44601.
