Patricia O. Freshly, age 81, of Alliance, died at 10:25 a.m., January 4, 2012, at McCrea Manor.
She was born January 2, 1931, in Elkmills, MD, to Bayard and Carrie Cornelia (Carter) Mann.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, knitting and collecting bells. Patricia was a member of the Farm Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Freshly, whom she married June 24, 1950; son, Michael L. (Karen) Freshly of SC; daughter, Barbara C. Grimm of Alliance; grandchildren, Christopher J. (Kristy) Grimm, Patrick J. (Shannon) Grimm, Megan Elizabeth Freshly, Michele (Donny) Stanley and Stephanie (Chip) Holmes; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Meridia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. David L. Andrews officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at North Georgetown Cemetery.
