Patricia Joan Kuhaneck

"She walks in beauty as the night of balmy breeze and starry skies. All that is best of dark and light meet in her aspect and her eyes."
The beauty in which Patricia walked was largely of her own devising. A talented artist and craftsperson, Patricia's paintings, ceramics, embroideries and floral arrangements delighted both family and friends to which she generously bestowed upon them.
Pat was born in 1950 to Vincent F. and Carol Joan (Throne) Kuhaneck. She passed away at Alliance Community Care Center on April 24, 2015.
She graduated from Alliance High School, attended Kent State University and graduated from Ohio University with an undergrad degree in art therapy, cum laude. She then worked mostly in retail sales.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Joan; brothers, Larry of California, John (Sara) of Kansas and Vincent (Marsha) of Damascus; sister, Harriet of Cincinnati; sister-in-law, Sue; great-nieces and great-nephews, Cholley, Sarah, Brianna, Joshua, Kyle, Shane, Christopher and Victoria; great-grandniece, McKensie; and great-grandnephew, Andrew.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, Vincent; grandparents; brothers, Rick, Fred and David; and sister, Virginia "Ginger" Morrison.
A Life Celebration service will be held at 1 p.m.., Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Union Avenue United Methodist Church. Patricia herself was a member of the Self Realization Fellowship in California, in which her brother is a monk.
Patricia was with Alliance Hospice and her family wishes to thank them for their loving care, especially Jamie and Bambi.
