Patricia M. Rowland age 81 of Alliance died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday May 24, 2003 at Altercare of Alliance after an extended illness.
She was born in Alliance on August 27, 1921 to Howard P. and Margaret (Bacon) Thomas. A 1940 graduate of Alliance High School, she was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. (George) Patricia Gemberling of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Mrs. (David) Margaret Brandon of Alliance, Oh. six grandchildren and one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews, and one sister Mrs. (Thomas) Marilyn Thompson of Scottsdale, Az.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Daniel W. Rowland, whom she married Oct. 9, 1949, and who died September 16, 1993.
Interment was at Fairmount Memorial Park.
