Patricia Ann Varmuzek

Patricia Ann Varmuzek, age 67, of Deerfield, passed away at 1:25 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born January 18, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, to Theo and Bertha (Bailey) Montgomery.
A graduate of Newton Falls High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor degree in education from Kent State University.
She was an active member of the Alliance Friends Church and its Mission committee, and was active in the Elementary Sunday School and Bible study programs. Patricia was involved in her family business, enjoyed her flower gardens and loved her grandchildren very much.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph M. Varmuzek of Deerfield, whom she married November 16, 1974; daughter, Bertie (Craig) Kerensky of Cuyahoga Falls; two granddaughters Meredith and Lily; grandson, Liam; two brothers, Wendell (Louise) Montgomery of Diamond and Richard (Susan) Montgomery of Newton Falls; and a sister, Judy (Chuck) Daugherty of Newton Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m., August 27, 2016, at Alliance Friends Church with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
