Patricia A. Zerby

Patty A. Zerby, age 75, passed away on January 1, 2024.

She was born on October 18, 1948, in Alliance, to Edward and Lena (Lacivita) Adams Sr.

Patty graduated from Marlington High School in 1967. She met and fell in love with her husband, Robert Zerby, at Fairmont Children’s Home. Patty worked as a nurse’s aide at Alliance Hospital, Dr. Boyce’s office and Surgery Alliance. She also helped her husband install carpet for many years. Patty was a member of Alliance Friends Church.

Patty enjoyed gardening, admiring her fish pond and spending time in her “She Shed”. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and vacationing with them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob; her daughter, Shanna (John Martin) Bryant; granddaughter, Peyton Bryant; sister, Helen Wolf; and brother, Butch Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Adams Jr.; and her step-sister, Delores.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, January 5^th at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
