Patricia Lee (Marckel) Shilling

Patricia Lee Shilling passed away peacefully at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 12, 2019 with her loved ones at her side at Danbury Senior Living of Alliance.

She was born April 3, 1936 in Alliance, Ohio, to Earl and Pauline (Reynolds) Marckel.

Pat was a 1954 graduate of Alliance High School. Employed for thirty years at Sears, she then joined her husband’s business, Harry’s Mobile Auto Glass

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating at Starlite where she met her husband, Harry and in later years she enjoyed attending car shows with her companion, Jerry Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheri (Robert) Hatherill of Alliance; and son, Ted (Mindy) Shilling of Canton.

Pat was very proud of her grandchildren, Dustin (Bethany) Hatherill of Alliance, and Abby (Dan) Patterson and Brian (Jaclyn) Shilling both of Beloit; great-grandchildren, McKean and Kendall Patterson of Beloit; brother, James (Donna) Marckel of Findlay, Ohio; and companion Jerry Johnson of Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harry Shilling who died January 19, 2001.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.  Cremation has taken place at Pat’s request.
