Patrick W. Myers

Patrick W. "Big Pat" Myers, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 12, 1958, in Alliance, Ohio, to Lloyd and Delores (Haidet) Myers Hahlen.
Pat attended St. Joseph's, Alliance High and Stark State. He was employed at American Steel/Alliance Castings for more than 30 years and was a member of Steelworkers Local Union No. 2211. He was also a member of Alliance Baptist Temple.
Pat was an avid fan of the blues, playing drums and the harmonica. Pat enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, boating and loved his Harley Davidson. He genuinely loved people and had a huge amount of compassion in his heart. He was always quick to make you laugh with a good joke. He was loved by family, friends and neighbors.
Pat is survived by his wife, Sue Lare-Myers, whom he married June 15, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada; mother, Delores M. Myers Hahlen; son, Patrick L. and wife, Kimberly Myers and children, Johnathan, Alexander and Gabriel; son, Jordan U. Myers; daughter, Faith M. Myers and son, Eli; stepdaughters, Mandy Alessandro and children, Anthony and Ashlynn; Crystal Anderson and children, Damion and Lydia; and Danielle Anderson and children, Joey and Zyler; Siblings, Michael Myers, Craig Myers and friend Latif, Darlene and Bill Faulkner, Brian and Sue Myers and Joe Myers; also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Pat was preceded in death by brothers, Mitchell Myers, John Myers and stepfather, Richard Hahlen.
Pat's family would like to thank Alliance Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Smith officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
