Paul "Doug" Boggs

Paul "Doug" Boggs, age 67, of Alliance, died at 12:00 p.m. February 17, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born January 18, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, to Paul J. and Beatrice (Merriman) Boggs.
A graduate of Ohio Northern University, Paul was a former partner at Fidelity Collections Agency.
A U. S. Air Force Veteran, he attended the Presbyterian church during his youth and early adulthood.
Doug enjoyed playing bridge and golfing.
Survivors include his sister, Pat (Joe) Calcutta, of Middleburg, FL; one niece, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jim McCurdy of First United Presbyterian Church officiating. Doug's family will receive friends following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St. Canfield, Oh., 44406, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
