Paul Glass

Paul T. Glass, age 86 of Alliance, died at 9:30 p.m. February 19, 2005 at McCrea Manor Nursing Center.
He was born February 14, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio to Paul and Pearl (Shaw) Glass, and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Glass graduated from Alliance High School, and worked as an Auto-body Repairman for Lavery Chevrolet until retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Southside Church of God and was active in the church.
Mr. Glass was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, having served during the European Theatre and in Germany. He was a Purple Heart Recipient.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel M. (Baxter) Glass, whom he married Feb. 16, 1941; two daughters, Nancy L. Kaley of Alliance, and Mary L. (Evert) Gibson, of Alliance; one son, Richard R. (Marsha) Glass of Louisville, eight grandchildren, Ryan, Bryce, Greg, Mark, Matthew, Cindy, Amy and Julie; and eight great-grandchildren, Triston, Danielle, Megan, Katelyn, Ashley, Tyler, Jeff and Grace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Gail Starr, and one brother, Mark.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Storlie officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
