Paul David Wearstler

Paul David Wearstler, age 88, of Alliance, passed away on July 6, 2023.

He was born June 28, 1935 in Marlboro to Gaylord and Pauline (Holibaugh) Wearstler and was a lifelong area resident.

Dave was a graduate of Alliance High School and had retired from American Steel.  He was an Air Force Veteran.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

His wife, the former Judy Keirn, whom he married in 1960, died in 2004.

He leaves behind a son, Scott Huhn; two grandchildren, Libby Huhn and Tyler Ware; sisters-in-law, Mary Wearstler and Alexis Keirn; a brother-in-law, Ronnie (Susan) Keirn, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife and his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann; his brother, James Wearstler; a sister, Dorothy (Ernie) Lindsmayer; a brother-in-law, David Keirn; and sister-in-law, Linda (Ed) Brutto.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park.
