Paula A. Moore, age 74, of Alliance, died at 6:55 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born April 24, 1938 in Pomeroy, Ohio to Paul E. and Irene Augusta (Eakin) Moore. Paula worked as a nursing assistant at Alliance Community Hospital for many years.
Paula enjoyed taking care of her cats, and loved taking road trips with her late husband.
Survivors include siblings, Georgia Kay (David) Harden of Maple Heights, Ohio, Jack (Garnet) Moore of Alliance, Wilbur "Bill" Moore of Alliance, and Bonnie Staggers of Alliance; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald A. Eakins; brothers, David, Scott, and Joe; and sisters, Eva Spall and Rae Burrier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with David Ray, Minister, officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St. Louisville, Ohio 44641.
