Pauline R. Byron, age 90, of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Alliance, died at 6:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at Heartland of Woodbridge in Fairfield.
She was born July 28, 1917 in Alliance, Ohio to Charles and Harriet (Fox) Anthony.
Pauline was a graduate of Alliance High School and was employed as a secretary by the former McCaskey Register. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Alliance.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Robert) Dickey of Fairfield, Ohio, son, Randy (Barbara) Byron of Acworth, Georgia; three grandchildren, Matt Dickey and Jennifer Street, both of Fairfield, Ohio and Randy Byron II of Acworth, Georgia; four great grandchildren, Sam and Tyler Street and Megan and Rachel Dickey all of Fairfield, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alfred J. Byron, whom she married in 1946 and who died July 12, 1987.
Family may receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. A Committal Service will be held Tuesday at Alliance City Cemetery with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Interment will follow.
