Philip P. Accettola, age 88, of Alliance, died at 4:00 a.m. Friday October 22, 2004 at Community Care Center.
Mr. Accettola was born January 17, 1916 in Alliance, Ohio to Loreto and Santina (DeSimone) Accettola and was a lifelong resident.
He attended Alliance High School, and was employed as a Mill Hand at Babcock and Wilcox, Alliance Tubular Production Division.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Christopher Columbus, the Dante Club, Roma, and the V.F.W. Post 6730 of Sebring.
A U.S. Army W.W.II veteran, Mr. Accettola served with the infantry.
Survivors include one daughter Linda Carter of Monterey, California, one son William Accettola of Alliance, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Accettola was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Joseph and William, and three sisters Chirinia, Jennie and Jeanette.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
