Phyllis H. Battershell, age 89, of Alliance, passed away at 8:40 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015, at McCrea Manor.
She was born February 24, 1926, in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles and Maria (Garman) Neville.
Mrs. Battershell was a member of Marlboro Christian Church and an employee of Costal Pet and Taylorcraft.
Survivors include her sons, Roy, Duane and Charles; daughter, Georgianna; three grandchildren, Paul, Shawn and Kathleen; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Neville and sisters, Eileen Stedman, Kathleen Pierson and Carolyn Bradley.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015, at Marlboro Christian Church with Pastor Edward J. Harnish officiating.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, OH 44601.
