Phyllis L. DuPlain

Phyllis L. DuPlain, age 79, of Alliance, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton.
She was born June 16, 1938 in Ravenna, Ohio to Warner E. and Jeanette E. (White) Staufeneger.
A former employee of SanCap, Phyllis attended the Alliance Christian Center. She loved animals, enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards, and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three children, Crystal Blair of Sebring, Kimberly (Douglas) Bartlett of Alliance, and Robyn Blake of Alliance; six grandchildren, Shelley, Billie Jo (Lee), Shane, Aaron (Kaitlyn), Jordan and Dylan; seven great grandchildren; and brother, Chris Staufeneger of Alliance.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. DuPlain who passed away February 12, 1990; an infant child; and sisters, Marian Hamilton and Jeannie Meeker.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home officiated by Kirk Martin of the Alliance Christian Center. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
