Phyllis A. (Pasco) Riesen

Phyllis A. (Pasco) Riesen, age 85, of Alliance, passed away at 3:15 p.m., Monday, September 5, 2016, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1931, in Alliance, Ohio, to John and Daisy (Wilson) Pasco and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Phyllis was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing and riding motorcycle with her husband.
Survivors include her two daughters, Susan (former husband, Tim) Reinhart of Canton and Jamie D. Anderson of Alliance; a son, Jeffery (Renea) Riesen of Cadiz; three sisters, Peggy Stella of Alliance, and Shirley Leech and Karen Gooden, both of Florida; eight grandchildren, Katelyn and Rachael Reinhart, Garrett and Joshua Riesen, Tori, Ethan and Autumn Anderson and William McLaughlin; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. Riesen whom she married June 24, 1948 and who died March 30, 2005; son, Daniel Riesen; and a sister, Beverly Butner.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Alliance Hospice for their excellent care of Phyllis.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2016, at Highland Memorial Park with interment to follow.
