Phyllis C. Troutman, age 84, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Alliance Community Hospital after a short illness.
She was born November 9, 1929, in New Carlisle, Ohio, to George and Una (Weaver) Godfrey and lived in the Alliance area most of her life.
Phyllis was a soft-spoken mother who dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed flower gardens and the color lavender.
She is survived by her children, Raymond (Beverly) Miller Jr. of Converse, TX, Kathryn (David) Rogers of Louisville, and Richard (Lynn) Miller of Alliance; grandchildren, Michele Miller of Alliance, Valerie Rogers of Greensboro, NC, Dianna (Ken) Jaquin and Jeff (Naomi) Miller, both of Converse, TX, and Ray (Sandy) Miller of California; sisters, Emma (Jerry) Linder of Spring Hill, FL, Sara (Ethel) Godfrey of Mesa, Arizona; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Vern and Josephine Christensen and Linda Buck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Troutman; and eight brothers and sisters, Gladys Stiffler, Elizabeth Kuntz, George Godfrey, Mary Ellen Payne, Virginia Fidler, Carolyn Susan Gau, Robert Godfrey and James Godfrey.
