R. Paul Heckman, age 67 of Alliance, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday October 22, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born August 3, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to Raymond and Mary (Richards) Heckman and lived in Alliance most of his adult life.
Mr. Heckman retired from Transue and Williams as a Foreman and Stark Redimix as a Driver and spent his retirement years enjoying his family and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Sabra (Hill) Heckman, whom he married February 5, 1960; two sons, Jeffrey P. Heckman of Atlanta, Georgia, and Randall S. Heckman of Alliance; one daughter, Diana (John) Snyder of Alliance; two grandchildren, Dalton and Lauren Snyder both of Alliance; a brother, Edward Heckman of Canton; a sister, Rebecca (Jim) Pittman of Beloit and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Bruce.
Private family services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
