Ralph W. Oyster, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday March 4, 2015.
He was born May 12, 1967 in Alliance to Ralph E. and Shirley (Talbott) Oyster.
A lifelong resident of Youngstown, he was a 1985 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and would spend the next 20 years honorably serving his country until his retirement in 2005.
Ralph will always be remembered for his kind words, generous heart and contagious sense of humor. He enjoyed his retirement fishing, metal detecting, and staying connected with his loved ones.
Survivors include his, parents; daughter, Abbey Curren; brothers, Randy and Ron (Stephanie) Oyster; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a brother, Richard.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Greg Calko officiating. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
