A memorial service for Ralph H. Robinson, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 11394 Edison St., Alliance, OH.
Mr. Robinson, formerly of Alliance, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Port Charlotte.
He was born to the late Humboldt and Ida (nee Cather) Robinson on August 27, 1921, in Atwater, and graduated from Atwater High School in 1939.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Ralph farmed and was a manager/foreman for Transue & William's Company. He was a member of the Alliance Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Clubs in both Ohio and Florida.
Ralph volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity during his retirement in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Holb) in 2005 and his siblings Howard, Orville, Marie and Evelyn.
He is survived by his children, Patricia (Jerry) Maldoven of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, David (Anne) Robinson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Thomas (Karen) Robinson of North Canton, Norita (Jeffrey) Webb of Alliance and Lynelle (Kevin) Hardy of Kansas City. Missouri.
