Raymon E. Combs, age 70, of Fort Mill, SC, formerly of Marlboro, lost his battle with cancer, at 3:33 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013.
He was born November 2, 1943, in Alliance, to Millard and Bernice (Rhoads) Combs.
Raymon was an independent truck driver for 50 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and watching football.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lynn (Wentz) Combs of Ft. Mill, S. Carolina; daughter, Traci (Mickey) Richardson of Ft. Mill, S. Carolina; son, Christopher Combs of Seattle, Washington; two grandsons, Jacob and Alex Richardson; brother, Calvin (Cheri) Combs of Alliance; seven nieces; three nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gary.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. following the visitation with Rev. Joel Cochran of Marlboro Chapel officiating.
