Reverend Roger William Felton Sr., age 70, of Alliance, died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born June 27, 1936 in Smithville, Ohio to Clyde and Marie (Tolbert) Felton and resided in the Alliance area all his life.
Mr. Felton graduated from Springfield Bible College and was a retired Baptist Minister. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a dairy farmer. Mr. Felton was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War as a medic.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy (Aldridge) Felton whom he married March 5, 1960; daughter, Karen (Larry) Noble of Carrollton, Robin (Kurt) Steiner of Creston and Karla Felton of Carrollton; sons, Roger Felton Jr. of Carrollton and Patrick Felton of Carrollton; sister, Diane (Don) Waltenbaugh of Alliance and brother Dan Felton of Damascus and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carole Wyss.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Highland Memorial Park chapel with Rev. Bill Copeland officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
