Richard A. Brinkman Sr., age 91, passed away on July 3, 2023.
He was born on June 24, 1932, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, to Albert and Bessie (Haldeman) Brinkman.
Richard graduated from Northampton High School in 1950. He was the Executive Vice President of Cornwell Quality Tool Co. for over 36 years until his retirement. Richard served honorably in the United States Navy from 1950-1954 during the Korean War.
Richard was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Elks #467, AARP, the VFW Post 1036, the Alliance Senior Center and USS Wisconsin Association. He enjoyed golfing, reading, traveling, and most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce L. (Fatzinger) Brinkman; his children, Richard (Becky) Brinkman Jr., Susan (Rick) Light, and Barbara Eberly; eight grandchildren, Ericka (Phillip) Linger, Terry (Kristi) Sedei, Emily (Randy) Knapp, Courtney Eberly, Katie (Jon) DiNardo, Rickie Light, Justin Eberly, and Joshua McCullough; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Williams.
A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
