Richard C. Lapp

Richard C. Lapp, age 88, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born November 9, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to Henry A. and Minnie (Rudolph) Lapp.
Richard was a 1948 graduate of Alliance High School and was owner operator of H.A. Lapp Plumbing and Heating, and formerly employed by Weldloc/Strapex and Haas Industries.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 574, and former Boy Scout Leader. Richard attained his private pilot's license and enjoyed woodworking, traveling and spending time with his family.
Richard was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores (Greek) Lapp; sisters, Doris Sahli of North Canton and Elda Tate of Alliance; many nieces and nephews who fondly called him Unk; and his dog, Chloe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen Lapp and H. Carl Lapp; and sister, Ethel (Lapp) Springer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home co-officiated by Rev Stephanie Lee and his niece, Rev. Katie Oskin. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 30 and Friday the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
