Richard A. "Rob" Robbins

Richard A. "Rob" Robbins of Deerfield, Ohio passed away Friday May 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born October 8, 1939 in Salem, Ohio to Glenn and Lucille (Dunn) Robbins.
Richard served in the Marine Corp from 1958-1960 and always said "Once a Marine, Always a Marine". He retired in 1998 from General Motors, Lordstown after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Robbins; brother, Glenn (Theresa) Robbins of LA; four children, James (Tami) Monath of Alliance, Dan (Lisa) Robbins of FL, Brenda Coleman of FL, and Linda Robbins of Kent; three step-children, Michelle (Raymond) Warchola of CA, Charles (Ana) Good Jr., of Brookfield, and Jennifer (Ryan) Hoffman of Youngstown; eleven grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call the hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
