Rita N. (Andrews) Winters

Rita N. (Andrews) Winters, age 67, of Alliance, passed away at 12:11 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Aultman Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1948, in Alliance, Ohio, to Joseph and Olantha (Graves) Andrews.
Rita was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall and employed as a State Tested Nurses Aid. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes and hospitals and teaching people about the Bible. Rita also loved writing letters, cooking and was very much a people person.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Andrews; sisters, Geraldine Harrington of Beechwood, Ohio, Corrine Jackson of Columbus Georgia, and Brenda (Andrew) Ried of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; brother, Dennis (Vanessa) Andrews of Alliance; son-in-law, Ronn Dozier Sr.; grandchildren, Parris Andrews, Candias Dozier, and Ronn Dozier II; five great-grandchildren; best friend, Flora Black; and many nieces and nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Winters; daughter, Shelley Dozier; brothers, Joseph Sr., Adolph, Milton, Gordon and Gilbert; and sisters, Alberta, Beatrice and Carol.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 701 W. Main St., Alliance, OH 44601, with Glenn Moser officiating.
