Robert W. "Bubba" Biggar Sr., age 66 of Alliance, died at 3:22 p.m. May 15, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1940 in Newark, New Jersey to Harold and Anne (Laurin) Biggar and lived in Alliance most of his life.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Robert was formerly employed by American Steel Foundries. He also had been a Taxi Cab Driver in Alliance for ten years.
He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Roach of Alliance; four sons, Robert (Kathy) Biggar Jr. of Franklin, NC, Larry (Tina) Biggar of North Canton, Michael Biggar of Alliance, and Shawn Biggar of Alliance; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his long-time companion Marilyn J. Keefe, and one brother, David.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Price of Aldersgate United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
