Robert C. Boring

Robert C. Boring, age 76, of Alliance, went to be with The Lord Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born October 5, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio, to Frank and Clara (Bowser) Boring.
Robert was a graduate of Alliance High School and a veteran of the United States Coast Guard for four years.
He loved his family and all sports. An avid sports fan who coached Little Aviators for 12 years, he was also a dedicated Mount Union fan. Robert was a crossing guard for eight years for the Alliance Police Department.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Magyaros) Boring; daughter, Lisa (Ron) Boring Arter; son, Dan Boring; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Bennett; brothers, Francis "Bud" Boring and William Boring; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Boring.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date.
