Robert T. Clark

Robert T. Clark, age 79, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Akron.
He was born November 19, 1935, in Conway, Arkansas, to Thomas Paul Jr. and Melba Marie (Kersey) Clark.
Robert was a high school graduate and attended Texas Christian University. He was employed as a plant engineering supervisor at Ford Motor Co. until his retirement in 1997.
A former member of the American Legion and the VFW, Robert also liked golfing, fishing, antique cars and raising show horses.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Survivors include his children, Rob T. Jr. (Shelly) Clark, Donna Lynn (Craig) Graffuis and Teresa Marie Durst; step-children, Michelle (Brian) Hevener Copen and Jamie Doyle; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Albert, Wyant, Gary and Jimmy; and his sister, Sharon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Y. Clark, whom he married June 20, 1981 and who died August 2, 2006; two sisters, Betty and Beverly; and a brother, Richard.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive Suite E. Uniontown, OH 44685 for all the special attention and care given to Robert.
